Statement
ScotiTech Solutions Limited does not use customer data — prompts, uploaded documents, retrieved context, generated outputs, telemetry, or registration details — to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or otherwise improve any AI model. This applies to:
- the AXOS marketing website and registration flow,
- the AXOS hosted demo environment operated by ScotiTech, and
- AXOS self-hosted deployments operated by customers.
We do not operate or train a model of our own. We do not forward customer content to any model endpoint other than the one the customer has configured.
Why this is true by construction
| Surface | Mechanism |
|---|---|
| Self-hosted deployment | The software runs inside the customer's boundary. ScotiTech has no access to the data. There is no telemetry channel carrying content back to ScotiTech. |
| Hosted demo | The demo is an isolated environment whose data is purged under the published retention schedule. No pipeline exports content from it for any purpose. |
| Model calls | AXOS sends a prompt only to the endpoint URL the customer configured, using the customer's credentials. The commercial and data-use terms for that call are between the customer and the model provider. |
| Marketing site / registration | Only contact and verification data is collected (see Privacy Policy s.2). None of it is content suitable for model training and none is used that way. |
What this does not cover
- The model provider the customer connects may have its own data-use terms. Customers should confirm with their provider (e.g. Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock) whether and how API inputs are retained or used. AXOS does not change those terms.
- Aggregate, non-content operational metrics (request counts, error rates, latency) on ScotiTech-operated services are used to run the service. They contain no customer content.
Where it is stated
- Privacy Policy s.3
- Terms of Use s.4
- Data Processing Agreement clause 4
