Customer data is never used to train models

Statement

ScotiTech Solutions Limited does not use customer data — prompts, uploaded documents, retrieved context, generated outputs, telemetry, or registration details — to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or otherwise improve any AI model. This applies to:

  • the AXOS marketing website and registration flow,
  • the AXOS hosted demo environment operated by ScotiTech, and
  • AXOS self-hosted deployments operated by customers.

We do not operate or train a model of our own. We do not forward customer content to any model endpoint other than the one the customer has configured.

Why this is true by construction

Surface Mechanism
Self-hosted deployment The software runs inside the customer's boundary. ScotiTech has no access to the data. There is no telemetry channel carrying content back to ScotiTech.
Hosted demo The demo is an isolated environment whose data is purged under the published retention schedule. No pipeline exports content from it for any purpose.
Model calls AXOS sends a prompt only to the endpoint URL the customer configured, using the customer's credentials. The commercial and data-use terms for that call are between the customer and the model provider.
Marketing site / registration Only contact and verification data is collected (see Privacy Policy s.2). None of it is content suitable for model training and none is used that way.

What this does not cover

  • The model provider the customer connects may have its own data-use terms. Customers should confirm with their provider (e.g. Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock) whether and how API inputs are retained or used. AXOS does not change those terms.
  • Aggregate, non-content operational metrics (request counts, error rates, latency) on ScotiTech-operated services are used to run the service. They contain no customer content.
